ECM/ECU Download and Interface

INTERFACE SOLUTIONS  - Comptek has significant experience with communicating to various engine manufacturer's intelligent engine control modules using both industry standard and manufacturer proprietary communications protocols.  Applications include acquiring broadcast data, viewing and clearing fault codes, setting overrides, and downloading programs and calibrations to an ECM. 

INTEGRAL ECM APPLICATIONS - ECM Communication does not need to be run on a separate computer.  It can be built into our TEST SOFTWARE or into your software application.  Comptek’s Electronic Test Software can specifically be adapted for communicating to any proprietary ECM interface and protocol. Many different industry standard protocols are currently supported such as J1939, J1708, J1587, J2534, CAN, MODBUS, and others.

ECM DOWNLOAD AND TESTING SYSTEMS - Comptek can engineer,  design and build custom ECM/ECU download and interface systems.  Including cabinetry, interface cables and test fixtures for your specific test requirements. Harnessing and power solutions for downloading and testing ECM's on or off engine.  Cabinets are custom designed for your test environment. Hardware interface solutions are available from a variety of third party data acquisition manufacturers. Comptek systems are hardware brand independent and can easily interface with many data acquisition product lines, PLC's and plant manufacturing systems.
