Engine Test Systems

COMPTEK has supplied over 150 Engine Test Data Acquisition and Control systems.   More than 7 million engines worldwide have been tested on our systems.  Many of systems were designed specifically for major engine manufactures and their Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers as proprietary designs.

Engine test systems typically come in two varieties:  End-Of-Line Production Testing for engine manufacturers and Quality Audit Testing (QA).  QA testing is used by engine manufacturers for special runs such as 100 hour, 500 hour testing and also for production test software development.  QA testing is also utilized by component manufacturers to test their specific products on a hot running engine.  

We also build the Comptek Engine Test System (COMETS).  This system is off-the-shelf and ready to test engines with minimum set-up and programming time.  Additionally we can customize the software to meet your exact needs.

Our capabilities also include building operator consoles and in-cell transducer and wiring cabinets.
